TG EAPCET 2026

Telangana Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test

Formerly known as TS EAMCET, the exam has been renamed to TG EAPCET to align with the stateโ€™s naming convention and to emphasize the Pharmacy (P) stream. It is conducted by JNTU Hyderabad on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TGCHE).

As of March 12, 2026, the registration window for TG EAPCET 2026 (formerly TS EAMCET) is active. The application process began on February 19 and is currently in its standard phase where you can apply without paying a late fee.

๐Ÿ“ Exam Pattern (CBT)

The exam is a 3-hour Computer-Based Test consisting of 160 Multiple Choice Questions.

  • Engineering Stream: 80 Questions in Mathematics, 40 in Physics, and 40 in Chemistry.

  • Agriculture & Pharmacy Stream: 80 Questions in Biology (Botany 40 + Zoology 40), 40 in Physics, and 40 in Chemistry.

  • Marking: Each correct answer earns +1 mark.

  • Negative Marking: There is no negative marking.

  • Qualifying Marks: General category candidates must score at least 25% (40 out of 160) to be eligible for a rank. There are no minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST candidates.

๐ŸŽ“ Eligibility & Requirements

  • Domicile: Candidates must belong to the state of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh and satisfy local/non-local status requirements.

  • Academic: Must have passed or be appearing for the 10+2 (Intermediate) examination. A minimum of 45% aggregate in relevant subjects (40% for reserved categories) is required for admission.

  • Age: * Engineering/Pharmacy: Minimum 16 years as of December 31, 2026.

    • Agriculture/Dairy Tech: Minimum 17 years; upper limit of 22 years (25 for SC/ST).

๐Ÿ’ฐ Registration Fees

  • Engineering (E) OR Agriculture & Pharmacy (A&P): โ‚น900 for General/OBC | โ‚น500 for SC/ST/PH.

  • Both Streams (E + A&P): โ‚น1,800 for General/OBC | โ‚น1,000 for SC/ST/PH.

Also, remember that 100% of your rank is now based on your entrance score, as the 25% Intermediate weightage remains scrapped.
