AIIMS Paramedical Entrance Exam

Overview

• AIIMS Paramedical is a national-level entrance examination conducted by AIIMS, New Delhi for admission to various B.Sc. (Hons.) Paramedical / Allied Health Science courses — including Bachelor of Optometry, B.Sc. Medical Technology in Radiography, Radiotherapy, Operation Theatre, and Anaesthesia, among others — offered across participating AIIMS institutes. It is completely separate from NEET; NEET scores are not considered for admission to AIIMS Paramedical courses.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Age Limit: Minimum 17 years as on 31 December of the admission year; no upper age limit for most courses

• Educational Qualification: Passed Class 12 (10+2) from a recognised board with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics

• Course Specific Note: For Bachelor of Optometry and Bachelor of Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology: PCB or PCM accepted. For all other paramedical courses: Biology is compulsory.

• Minimum Marks: 50% aggregate (General/EWS/OBC); 45% for SC/ST category

Application Process

Candidates can apply for the AIIMS Paramedical Entrance Examination through the official AIIMS examination portal. The process is completed in two stages:

Step 1: Basic Registration

• Visit aiimsexams.ac.in and click on the AIIMS Paramedical application link.

• Register using basic details — name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, and category.

• Login credentials are generated upon successful basic registration.

Step 2: Final Registration

• Log in using the generated credentials.

• Fill in the complete application form — educational qualification, personal details, category, course preference, and exam city preferences.

• Upload scanned documents: photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and category/disability certificates (if applicable).

• Pay the application fee online (Net Banking/Debit/Credit Card/UPI).

• Submit the form and download/print the confirmation page for future reference.

• PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities): Nil (fully exempted)
