Odisha Joint Entrance Examination

OJEE is the state-level gateway for admission into various professional undergraduate and postgraduate courses in government and private colleges across Odisha.

Important Note for B.Tech/MBBS: Admission to first-year B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Plan, and MBBS/BDS is based on JEE Main and NEET-UG scores, respectively. OJEE is primarily for Lateral Entry B.Tech, MBA, MCA, B.Pharm, and other specialized professional courses.

  • Registration Period: 28 January – 22 March 2026

  • Last Date for Fee Payment: 22 March 2026

  • Correction Window: Expected late March 2026

  • Admit Card Release: From 25 April 2026

  • Examination Dates: 04, 05, 07, 08, and 09 May 2026

  • Result Declaration: 1st Week of June 2026

🎓 Key Courses & Eligibility

  • B.Pharm: Passed 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and either Mathematics or Biology.

  • Lateral Entry (B.Tech/B.Pharm): For Diploma holders in Engineering/Technology or Pharmacy with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST).

  • MBA / MCA: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST).

  • B.Sc Nursing: Passed 10+2 with 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB).

  • B.CAT (Film/Media): Open to 10+2 students from Science, Arts, or Commerce streams.

📝 Exam Pattern (CBT Mode)

The exam is a Computer-Based Test consisting of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

  • Marking Scheme: +4 for every correct answer; -1 for every incorrect answer.

  • Duration: Typically 1 to 2 hours depending on the specific course.

  • Subjects: * MBA/MCA: Quantitative Techniques, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, and General Awareness.

    • B.Pharm: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology.

    • Lateral Entry: Engineering Mathematics, Engineering Mechanics, and Basic Electrical/Electronics Engineering.

  • Single Course: ₹1,000

  • Each Additional Course: +₹500 per course

  • Payment Mode: Online (Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI).

🏛️ Domicile & Seat Rules

  • Government Colleges: Reserved exclusively for permanent residents (domiciles) of Odisha.

  • Private Colleges: Open to both Odisha state candidates and outside-state candidates.

  • B.CAT Courses: All candidates (State and Outside State) are eligible for admission in all institutes.
