2. General Ability Test (GAT)

The General Ability Test (GAT) is a compulsory written examination that assesses candidates on language skills, numerical ability, logical reasoning, and general awareness.

3. Creative Ability Test (CAT) – B.Des Only

The Creative Ability Test evaluates creativity, visualization skills, observation power, and design aptitude. It is a drawing-based examination conducted only for B.Des candidates.

4. Situation Test – B.Des Only

Candidates shortlisted after GAT and CAT must appear for the Situation Test. A practical design problem is given, and candidates are evaluated on creativity, innovation, material handling, construction quality, and presentation.
