🎓 Eligibility & Residency
Nationality: Must be an Indian citizen.
Domicile: Must be a Permanent or Local Resident of Jharkhand. A valid residential certificate is mandatory.
Academic: * Agriculture/Forestry: 10+2 with PCM/PCB.
B.Ed.: Graduation or Post-Graduation with 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).
Age Limit: * Agriculture/Forestry: 17 to 22 years as of July 1, 2026.
Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc.): 17 to 25 years as of December 31, 2026.
📝 Exam Pattern (Offline OMR)
The exam is held in a pen-and-paper format with bilingual question papers (English and Hindi).
Subject Groups: PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Maths) or PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) or PCMB.
Questions: 50 MCQs per subject.
Marking Scheme: +1 for correct answers; -0.25 for incorrect answers.
Duration: 1 hour per subject (3 hours total for a 3-subject group).

Pro-Tip for 2026: For Agriculture and Allied courses, the Board often allows students with either Mathematics or Biology to apply. If you have both (PCMB), you can attempt all four subjects to increase your eligibility across more courses, but remember the extra time and negative marking.
