🎓 Eligibility & Residency

  • Nationality: Must be an Indian citizen.

  • Domicile: Must be a Permanent or Local Resident of Jharkhand. A valid residential certificate is mandatory.

  • Academic: * Agriculture/Forestry: 10+2 with PCM/PCB.

    • B.Ed.: Graduation or Post-Graduation with 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).

  • Age Limit: * Agriculture/Forestry: 17 to 22 years as of July 1, 2026.

    • Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc.): 17 to 25 years as of December 31, 2026.

📝 Exam Pattern (Offline OMR)

The exam is held in a pen-and-paper format with bilingual question papers (English and Hindi).

  • Subject Groups: PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Maths) or PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) or PCMB.

  • Questions: 50 MCQs per subject.

  • Marking Scheme: +1 for correct answers; -0.25 for incorrect answers.

  • Duration: 1 hour per subject (3 hours total for a 3-subject group).

  • PCM / PCB Group: ₹900 (General/OBC) | ₹450 (SC/ST/Female)

  • PCMB Group: ₹1,000 (General/OBC) | ₹500 (SC/ST/Female)
