CUET-UG Exam Pattern & Syllabus

This page provides the official syllabus, exam structure, and section-wise question distribution for the CUET .

  1. Exam Pattern:

  • The CUET (UG) examination is structured into three main sections, covering a total of 37 subjects.

  • These include 13 language subjects, 23 domain-specific subjects, and 1 General Aptitude Test.

  • Each section—Language Subjects, Domain Subjects, and the General Aptitude Test—consists of 50 questions, with a test duration of 60 minutes per subject.

  • Candidates are allowed to appear for CUET (UG) in any subject irrespective of subjects studied in class 12th.

  • Candidates may choose upto a maximum of five (05) subjects including languages and General Aptitude Test.

  • Marking Scheme: +5 marks for correct answers, -1 mark for incorrect answers, no penalty for unanswered.
