AIIMS B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing – Overview

  • The AIIMS B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing Entrance Examination is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, for admission to the B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing programme at AIIMS institutions. Admission is based on candidates’ performance in the entrance examination, followed by the seat allocation process.

    The B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing programme is a four-year undergraduate nursing course designed for students who wish to pursue a career in professional nursing and healthcare.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Age Limit: Minimum 17 years as on 31 December of the admission year; no upper age limit

  • Educational Qualification: Passed Class 12 (10+2) or equivalent from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects

  • Minimum Marks: 55% aggregate in PCB + English (General/OBC); 50% for SC/ST/PwBD

  • Number of Attempts: No Restrictions

Application Process

Candidates can apply for the AIIMS B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing Entrance Examination through the official AIIMS examination portal. The process is completed in three stages:

Step 1: Basic Registration

  • Visit aiimsexams.ac.in and click on the AIIMS BSc Nursing application link.

  • Register using basic details — name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, and category.

  • An EUC (Enrolment ID/Unique Code) or login credentials are generated upon successful basic registration.

Step 2: Generation of Code for Final Registration

  • Once basic registration is verified/accepted, candidates receive a code/link to proceed to final registration.

  • This step confirms candidate eligibility before allowing full form submission.

Step 3: Final Registration

  • Log in using the generated credentials.

  • Fill in the complete application form — educational qualification, personal details, category, and exam city preferences.

  • Upload scanned documents: photograph, signature, and category/disability certificates (if applicable).

  • Pay the application fee online (Net Banking/Debit/Credit Card/UPI).

  • Submit the form and download/print the confirmation page for future reference.
