Combined Entrance Examination for Engineering Admissions
Assam CEE is the state-level gateway for admission to Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) programs in the premier government and participating private engineering colleges across Assam. The exam is conducted annually by the Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU).

📝 Exam Pattern (OMR Based)
The exam is a single-paper, offline test conducted in both English and Assamese.
Total Questions: 120 MCQs (40 each in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics).
Total Marks: 480 marks.
Marking Scheme: +4 for every correct answer; -1 for every incorrect answer.
Duration: 3 hours (180 minutes).
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
Nationality & Domicile: Must be an Indian citizen and a Permanent Resident of Assam. You must possess a valid Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC).
Academic: Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English.
Minimum Marks: * General: 45% aggregate in PCM.
SC/ST: 40% aggregate in PCM.
Age Limit: Must be between 17 and 21 years of age as of August 1, 2026. (3-year relaxation for SC/ST candidates).
