Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test

AP EAPCET (formerly AP EAMCET) is the primary gateway for admission into professional undergraduate programs in Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy across the state of Andhra Pradesh. The exam is conducted by JNTU Kakinada on behalf of the APSCHE.

📅 2026 Critical Timeline

  • Registration Deadline (Without Late Fee): 17 March 2026 (Extended)

  • Registration with Late Fee (₹1,000): Up to 21 March 2026

  • Registration with Late Fee (₹2,000): Up to 25 March 2026

  • Application Correction Window: 04 April – 06 April 2026

  • Admit Card Release: 28 April 2026

  • Engineering Exam Dates: 12, 13, 14, 15, and 18 May 2026

  • Agriculture & Pharmacy Exam Dates: 19 and 20 May 2026

  • Result Declaration: Expected 01 June 2026

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

  • Nationality: Indian Nationals or PIO/OCI cardholders.

  • Domicile: Must satisfy Local/Non-Local status requirements for Andhra Pradesh or Telangana.

  • Academic: * Passed or appearing in 10+2 with at least 45% aggregate (40% for SC/ST).

    • Engineering: Must have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (MPC).

    • Agriculture/Pharmacy: Must have Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics (BiPC/MPC).

  • Age Limit: * Engineering/Pharmacy: Minimum 16 years as of December 31, 2026 (No upper limit).

    • Agriculture: Minimum 17 years; Upper limit is 22 years (25 for SC/ST).

📝 Exam Pattern (Computer-Based Test)

The exam consists of 160 questions to be completed in 3 hours (180 minutes).

  • Engineering (MPC): * Mathematics: 80 questions

    • Physics: 40 questions

    • Chemistry: 40 questions

  • Agriculture & Pharmacy (BiPC): * Biology (Botany + Zoology): 80 questions

    • Physics: 40 questions

    • Chemistry: 40 questions

  • Marking Scheme: +1 for every correct answer; Zero for incorrect ones.

  • Negative Marking: NONE.

  • Language: English and Telugu (Urdu-medium assistance is only available at the Kurnool center).

💰 Application Fee

The fee varies by stream and category (excluding a small processing fee):

  • Engineering OR Agriculture/Pharmacy: * General: ₹600 | BC: ₹550 | SC/ST: ₹500

  • Both Streams (E & A): * General: ₹1,200 | BC: ₹1,100 | SC/ST: ₹1,000
